Current Off-Roading Classess
in Grand Junction, CO

We offer classes based on your unique interest and level of expertise. Whether you want to venture beyond the pavement for your first excursion or looking for tips and best practices to elevate your exploration to new heights, we are here to help.

Here’s a breakdown of the most common types of classes we offer:

Trail Run Adventures

The adventure starts where the pavement ends. And our Trail Run Adventures off-roading class is built to help you find your way.

This course is carefully planned to accommodate lightly modified vehicles and confident drivers. In Trail Run Adventures, we will lay the foundation for you to navigate the trail successfully.

Driving and Spotting Class

While “driving” is self-explanatory, avid off-roaders always travel with a spotter. A spotter is the second set of eyes that can help you master the roughest and toughest obstacles. They usually stand in front of the vehicle and use hand signals and voice commands to help you know which way to turn the wheels and whether to go backward or forward.

Our Driving and Spotting Class will cover the basics and help you gain the confidence to navigate different types of terrain. This class is perfect for all vehicles and levels of driver.

Winch and Recovery Class

When you venture into the wild, anything can happen. And if that “anything” involves getting stuck, you need the tools and expertise to get unstuck. Our Winch and Recovery Off-Roading Classes can help.

These off-roading classes will introduce you to all the equipment required to recover your vehicle or someone else’s safely. You do not need to have all the equipment at class time, just an open mind and willingness to learn and explore.

2023 Event Calendar for Off-Roading Classes

All winch and recovery classes will be taught here at the shop from 0900 to 1300.

Driving & spotting classes are TBD depending on the current weather situation and limited to 8 vehicles (no limit on occupants of said vehicles). Driving and spotting classes are intended for a driver and at least one passenger.
